Epiphysis or

Epiphysis or pineal gland is a small endocrine gland located deep in the human skull that distinguishes the light from the darkness and produces the hormone melatonin, which introduces us into sleep and regulates the time of puberty startup. By animals regulates the function of full impulse, behavior, fur growth, camouflage and winter dream. In humans, the pineal gland have the pea grain size is located directly behind the root of the nose and floats in a small lake of liquor.

The people of Guru commented on the position of the epiphysis on one of the seven chakras as the center of spiritual and psychic energy, hence the name “third eye”.

Because both serotonin and melatonin are concentrated in the epiphysis, this “third eye” is a portal of awareness, a “door of perception”.

Epiphysis is also responsible for estimating the length of day and night, to determinate the best seasons for mating and to “engage” sexual instincts when it’s time. 1958 A.L.Melatonin discovered an important molecule in the epiphysis, produced by another neurotransmitter – serotonin (a hormone of happiness).

This gland is activated by light and can not produce melatonin if we sleep in a bright room, as well as when we are not relaxed and when exposed to magnetic radiation of low frequency.

With the advent of puberty, the production of melatonin is reduced and then for the first time we begin to have problems with depression, insomnia and other problems.

The epiphysis function is associated with the presence or absence of sunlight. The sun acts as an external clock that harmonizes our inner clock, or the inner creator of the rhythm and is called SCN (suprahaismatic nuclei). So this clock harmonizes the physical changes of the body with changes in light during the day and night. In the absence of daylight, the epiphysis turns the amino acid tryptophan into a hormone serotonin that converts to melatonin. Melatonin secretion makes us sleepy, which brings us into a deep and healthy sleep. Its production is most intensive from two to four in the morning, while we are in the deepest REM phases of sleep.

The melatonin molecule has the same structure as the LSD molecule, but melatonin is a stimulus for rest, satisfaction and relaxed thinking, while LSD has psychedelic and destructive hallucinogenic properties.

It is suggested that the epiphysis releases the accumulated chemical DMT (Dimethyltryptamine) immediately before death, so that the survivors who have found themselves in the face of death are talking about experience outside the body and mystical visions. Therefore, this gland could be the “Spiritual gland”.

The size of the epiphysis changes due to its calcification. The causes can be the lack of vitamins K and D. Because of their biochemical properties, the epiphysis most attracts fluoride from the body, and if it is sufficiently poisoned by fluoride it will be calcified and work very poorly, leading to accelerated aging and weakening immunity.

Today, new melatonin studies show many of her beneficial effects on the body. It acts as an antidepressant, helps in the treatment of Alzheimer’s and cancer. Strengthens the immune composition and stops aging.
